The Conservation Council of Nations is building a structure for dialogue in which countries, corporations, NGOs, and intergovernmental organizations can talk productively about challenges and solutions in environmental conservation - each from its own standpoint, but towards the goal of reaching a common mission. We believe that no lasting solutions will be formed that do not engage all the sectors that play a key role on the world stage. Our network is bringing together these disparate parties - through educational programs, through staff trips, and through projects on the ground - to forge new, bold, and mutually beneficial conservation strategies. NGOs

The mission of The Nature Conservancy is to preserve the plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive.

The Wildlife Conservation Society saves wildlife and wild places worldwide. We do so through science, global conservation, education and the management of the world's largest system of urban wildlife parks.

Global Parks, the CCN's flagship program partner, mobilizes our extensive database of expert volunteers - generally retirees from the U.S. National Park System - to assist other countries in strengthening their capabilities to sustainably manage their park and protected areas systems and to protect their natural and cultural resources.

Corporations

As the Conservation Council of Nations is formed out of the framework and organizational principles of the ICCF, it draws strong foundational support from ICCF's base of corporate partners, ICCF's Conservation Council, an unmatched collaboration of conservation-minded businesses. The Conservation Council lends the member countries of the CCN a remarkable platform of scientific, resource, and experiential assistance. The members of the Conservation Council are leading the world in aggressive, innovative solutions to natural resource challenges.

Intergovernmental Organizations

The Global Environment Facility provides grants to developing countries and countries with economies in transition for projects that benefit the global environment, linking local, national, and global environmental challenges and promoting sustainable livelihoods.

The mission of the United Nations Environmental Programme is to provide leadership and encourage partnership in caring for the environment by inspiring, informing, and enabling nations and peoples to improve their quality of life without compromising that of future generations.
